Philipp Fechteler

Philipp Fechteler studied Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin in Germany with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. In 2005, he received his degree of graduate engineer (Diplomingenieur, Dipl.-Ing.) with the thesis on Dynamic Load Balancing in Heterogeneous Cluster Systems.

In 2006, he joined the Computer Vision and Graphics group in the Image Processing Department of the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecomunications - Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) Berlin, Germany.

His present research interests are focused on 3D scanning, stereo/multi vision and structured light methods. Currently he is working on active 3D face scanning as well as remote rendering techniques.
